The Sigma Steering wheel dash can be used to display channel values from Pi Sigma and replaces analogue instruments in a race car. Two remote 3-position switches, which can be mounted on the steering wheel, are used to control the dash via an internal CAN interface.
The internal CAN interface will also accept a further 6 switch inputs, which can be used to control other devices on the CAN network.
The Sigma Steering Wheel dash has a 24-character message centre, two 5-digit 7-segment numerical LED displays, eight alarm LEDs and a gear number display. In addition, ten LEDs arranged across the top of the dash are an RPM/gearshift display. Pi software is used to select the alarms and channels to display.
The dash is supplied with a panel mounted 19-pin socket fitted. A 600mm (23.6") long power loom terminated with a 19-pin plug at one end and bare wires at the other, is also supplied. The loom can also be supplied terminated with an AS108-35PN connector and two remote switches.
